M&G Plaza — Abuja, Nigeria | Completed 2019

M&G Plaza is a six-floor mixed-use commercial building on Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent in Wuse II, Abuja. Set on a 1,490 sqm site with a gross floor area of roughly 2,000 sqm, the building houses retail space, basement parking, and upper-floor amenities including a rooftop restaurant.

The design is defined by its skin: a Voronoi-patterned aluminum panel system wraps the external glazing, breaking the façade into an irregular, cellular geometry. Beyond its visual identity on the street, the pattern does functional work — filtering daylight into the interior and casting a constantly shifting play of shadow across the retail floors below.

The result is a building that reads as sculptural from outside and animates its own interior light throughout the day.
