The Founder

Akinwale Arokodare is a Lagos-based architect and designer with over fifteen years of experience spanning architecture, urban planning, and large-scale real estate development.

​​

Central to his creative process is world building — a discipline borrowed from fiction and film and applied to architecture. Before drawing a single line, he constructs the world of a project: its story, its characters, the life that will unfold within it. He speaks and writes frequently on how architects can use world building to expand their creativity and design buildings that deliver singular, memorable user experiences — structures that feel less like objects and more like places with their own narrative gravity.

Akinwale Arokodare is a registered architect with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) and a full member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (MNIA). He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Architecture from Covenant University, Ota, and a Master of Science in Construction Project Management from the University of Manchester. He is a PRINCE2 Practitioner and holds the APM Introductory Certificate in project management.
